Lane Avenue, eastbound: 1670-1288 W. Lane Ave

It's surrounded by much taller and more recently constructed buildings. Local Cantina's side patio is basically in their back yard.

Former owners include the family behind Davies Pastry Shop, as well as an insurance agent. After a long holdout, this house was finally sold to developers in January of 2013 and may not last much longer.

Le Chatelaine is a popular French Bakery and Bistro with 3 locations in town. This is the oldest and has been here since 1991.

Though Graeter's is from Cincy, we obviously have  a ton of them in C-bus. This is by far my most visited site. My friend Dan had this theory that their chocolate chunk ice cream would be just average if not for those chunks - something about those huge, almost waxy pieces made it phenomenal.

This is now Pho Asian Noodle, but used to be a Taco Bell. I always love the bizarre merging, with a repurposed building such as this. And wish Taco Bells still looked like this, too, actually.

On my 28th birthday, after drinking some brews on campus, we came here afterwards. Ah, the memories! It was still a Taco Bell back then, though.
